The Origin of Life in the Air
Schulzure collected the floating dust of the air and found by means of the microscope many organized particles which he sewed unsuitable infusions into. He also demonstrated that these organisms existed in different degrees in different atmospheres. Few in the pure air of the Merde-gloss, more in the air of the plains, most in theAir of towns. The result was to put to route the fresh arguments for spontaneous generation which Pusche had advanced as late as 1859.
