The Book of Psalms
Most of them probably began from an actual prophet preaching visions that he or she had experienced and delivering a message. The oldest material in these other writings goes back to the before the babylonian exile, and maybe even some back to the united monarchy. For example, the psalmsther you know, more than a hundred psalms. They were probably written over a verylong period of time by many different people. And then again, because they are songs,because they are in verse, was passed down orally for some time before they were written and collected in a scroll. But others of them surely come from the babylonian exile period and an even later.
