The United States cattle herd is smaller than it's been in 75 years, but those cows are producing more damaging gases than we've ever seen in history. If you stay in one place too long, you get a huge parasite build up. We put chemicals into our animals to kill those parasites. In the natural world, what the animals would do is they would just keep moving on to fresh grass. So that's what we're doing. Also, if an animal has a choice, if you put one animal on an acre of grass, that animal will go out and eat its favorite from that acre. Within five years, that pasture will only be what you hate because that's allowed to seed
