The Road Is Coming
The script was so long that they just snipped out a lot of the subplot. The towns people are basically systematically killing all of the male children as soon as they become teenagers. Those hoodie kids definitely know what's coming, they have to on some level. How horrific is that? Living in a town where you're sure that as soon as you really hit puberty, it's all over.
