Charterstone - Your First Legacy Project?
Jamie Stegmaier: Charterstone was one of the most, probably definitely the hardest design that I've worked on. In a legacy game, there are so many different branching paths, unless you really narrow those paths,. Unless you make it a really linear experience, which is not what I wanted to do. The brain power that I spent in the 18 months I designed Charterstone was well beyond any other game that I's worked on.
