A lot of people have been sending us these puzzles. Keep sending them through the usual channels and we will feature them on a future episode. I was surprised to find that carousel is entirely unrelated to carouse. It comes from French carose to drink or to quaff. And it gets it from German God ous, which is quite out to drink out. That's carousing.
