In the second and third paragraph of this essay the word life appears six times. In the last paragraph on the moth is dying. This is not a moth that gives up. It really wants to be alive. She made the moth immortal with her pencil just the way she and her work are immortal. Virginia Woolf died but this became the most famous moth in history.
