What It Was Like to Be a Nun in the 50s
The life of a nun in the fifties was one of blind obedience. And then vatican too happened, and it just opened up especially us as nuns to the world. The church was re defined as the people of god. It truly is a people who have the experiences on the ground,. or the ones tot go into the prisons share those experiences and dialogue with each other. Hen thing change away for example, you have pope francis declare two thousand years ago that catechism should be abandoned. That sinerry cannot be given at lritous crime under no matter how grievous crimes are committed. We must always take our own lives very seriously.
