The Importance of Playing Mathematics

The staff at Newcastle School for Girls wanted to talk about mathematics and what they've done within their setting. They talked about your work so it's great that you're on the podcast because actually you've been mentioned so many timesyou haven't you? So I also wanted to ask you about a quoteUm I found an article that you've written for the association of teachers of mathematics was a great article um written  about the same time that the book came out. You'd said doing mathematics is part of being human and I wondered whether you wouldn't mind explaining it.
