Why Is It That English Football Clubs Are Being Bought Up and Associated With an Authoritarian Regime?

Amnesty international called the deal and attempt at sports washing its appalling human rights record. Soldy maybe has a reputation for other human rights abuses, locking up its critics and suppression of women's rights. So why is it t that authoritarian regimes with spardy records, or people associated with them would take such interest in english football clubs?
