Disney Land - The Purveyor of Comfort

Walt disney intended his park to provide just the opposite, not freedom, but control and order. He later says that disneyland provided an architecture of reassurance. One reporter wrote that disney land was less an amusement park than a state of mind. And so once again, a big gamble turns out great for disney and his company.
