The Irony of Baptism
Christian baptism is a sacred symbolic experience of being washed with water. It's pointing to the reality that my heart has been cleansed through the blood of Jesus. Your heart's been sprinkled. That's what baptism points to. He says, remember your baptism. And we do that by venturing in faith on the death and the resurrection of Jesus for us. The early Christians were very clear, the New Testament is very clear.
