Equity and Systemic Racism

Many of the problems that are assigned under a program of equity or systemic racism are actually problems of poverty, for example. To treat them as a problem of racism is going to solve some of the issues, sure, but it's going to create other issues. It's much better to try to approach these things in a way that again doesn't rely on critical theories of identity and does on liberal treat everybody equally.
