The Expansion of the Universe

We prefer to think about it in terms of space expanding between us and other galaxies because that's also something that we can measure. But it seems like it's all kind of based on the idea or the discovery that things are moving away from us faster and faster in time. Maybe we need a better cosmetologist. Right right I guess you don't want to believe that we are that repulsive that the whole universe is just trying to get away from us.
