A pack and play is kind of like a travel cot, isn't it? But yes, that's what i think my brother and sister in law would use more. Some people choose to have a moses basket - these pretty woven baskets where the baby can sleep. They're easier to take on the plane with you, or even in the car. Maybe when you guys want to take your your first trip with the baby, might be a handy thing to have.
