Gender and trans rights are the new hot button issues, says Sanne. But there's been an unwillingness to acknowledge that there are trade offs in this debate. And i think we need at least a talk about this openly, which it seems to be happening. The people signing the letter criticising the n c a policy have to e do so anonymously. Do you feel your work is uncancellable at this point? I'm not sure if any of us would want to continue writing for main stream outlets as i've been doing where i've been. That was the right place at the right time but none of those things seem to exist anymore.
