The Importance of Consent in Mormonism
Brooke: One of the phrases that they used in the documentary was a pre-pubescent sexual subtext, basically sexualizing children in such a weird way. Rebecca: As someone who's been abused as well and in a similar circumstance, that was really crushing to realize that not only did it happen, but maybe I was responsible. Chandler: It seems like in high demand religion, obviously they're not going to teach members about consent because that would just disassemble their whole thing.
