Why We Write and Language Models with Maggie Appleton

Clerestory (Bryan Kam)

CHAPTER

The Extended Mind and the Embodied Mind

Everything we think comes from embodiment first like every all the language we use even when it's abstracted uses physical references to talk about everything. Even when you're talking about abstract emotions or things happening in the economy you are using embodied language that requires a body food to understand what it means. We have centuries of Europeans trying to do that and dying wherever they go so when they don't communicate with people who already live in this environment yeah. I read Varela and Evan Thompson's embodied mind and that is about it's kind of trying to get away from this brain in the back kind of idea.
