What Was the Narrative in the Community?

The basics of the sexual activity that was considered to be scandalous seemed to center around activity in the sanzen or the private coan interview. And r you write in the book about a sort of striation of responses among the many women. It seems that he initiated sexual contact with from some of them finding it to be a very healing, valuable part of their practice and others feeling taken advantage of. So i am curious what the community narrative was. But was it a sort of crazy wisdom narrative, this is just one of his methods? You know, he's, as you said, difficult teacher. The practice is not for everybody.
