Tail Hedging
Tail hedging is something that we do on a team basis, because it's really important to look at the entire risk of the portfolio. It gives you this mental edge of being able to take on more risk when other market participants might not be able to due to financial constraints or psychological reasons. We have sort of three main types: gap risk, trend c t and events. The second type of hedge is against more a sort of gradual and slower moves such as stalks in two thousand eight - wo thousand nine.
