Is There a Relationship Between Lie Detection and Stress?

LZ Granderson: I think a lot of people misunderstand the point of lie detection. It's never the end goal. The end goal is still for the person to go, okay, you know what, I'm going to come clean. He says we leak constantly these three year old gestures and then cover them up in other ways. LZ: For example, eye blocking or closing the eyes to focus is something that children who are born blind do. And it doesn't make a difference whether their eyes are closed or open because they can't see.
