And so in his mind, he's created this whole justification of, Oh, well, now that you've asked, it's ruined and it ends up being like he's punishing her. Do you think he actually was just thinking about getting her flowers? 100% no. He was not an excuse. If it wasn't an excuse, then go prove it by doing it. Or okay, sure. Get her some candy. Get her a little gift that she's had her eye on. Write her a love note. Like you can still do something different,
