Taxation and Environmental Issues Are Different Than Abortion
Environmental issues and tax issues are different than abortion, but there are also some important similarities. If your argument is that you can't have any restrictions on abortion because at any stage of a pregnancy, it is illegitimate to impose your religious values on others,. then you can't say that your views on taxation or environmental policy are driven by religion either. There's nothing wrong with with with being religiously motivated, so long as you still make good arguments.
