Pain Scales - Which Is Better?

The 11 point an anares for pain is its classic and i think it works pretty well. But when we tried to apply this kind of response cales to other concepts, didn't work necesarly so well. It's really a question of of the concept and seeing whether patient can can discriminate between dfferent levels. And regarding the number of categories, there is cand of believe that more item categories, more responsive your scale is.
