The Importance of Indexes in OLAP Queries
In 0.12, Pino has a pluggable architecture where it's relatively easy to add new indexes. To be fast means I have two options: I can scan less or I can scan faster. Scanning smarter is about cool indexes that let you filter and focus your scanning on only the right blocks of the right segments of the table. And optimizing scanning faster is generally about locally attached storage.
