Larry layton took a seat on the first plane with several reporters and a few of the concerned relatives. Congressman ryan went down, as did his ade jackie spear and don harris. Those who were still breathing but couldn't run, played dead. A handful of guianese soldiers had watched the whole thing from the other end of the airstrip. They didn't know what was going on; they just knew it had to do with americans.
