Is There Something Like Human Nature?

By 'human nature' i mean adaptive physiological characteristics, psychological and pr psychological and behavior characteristics that in the past have helped us survive and reproduce. But when we say some aspects of our thinking or our behavior reflect human nature, we also imply that these traits are to some extent genetically determined or controlled by natural selection. So essentially, one imply in that they have an adoptive function.
