What Is the Patty Pledging Scheme?
For many farmers, they saw it not as a money making scheme for a bank. They were getting more money for their patty. For critics of the policy, they looked at it and they saw this as an expensive programme that was costing the state a lot of money. But whichever side of the argument you were on, nobody could argue that the patty pledging scheme was not popular.
