DeGrove is one of the most important things we need to contend with in environmental politics today, says Jason Morswerken. There are different versions of DeGrove, but they have a couple of things in common: reducing material throughputs and stepping away from GDP as a measure of collective and healthy society. "There is a class struggle going on in DeGrove literature that needs to be paid attention to," he adds.
