i did a tru minimos programme. The only exercise i did was kettle bell snatches for like eight weeks. And doing it, i my press went up. My pull ups went up despite not doing either of those things. I was able to kettbe snatch away more weight than i ever could. But i don't know how much minimalstrain in applies to athletics. What i didn't necessarily feel was more athletic afterwards. It showed like you can get stronger doing a bunch of different styles of training. For training athletes, probably has to be something a little more comprehensive during their programme to reach it,. Like a new goal, till it moved them forward in overall athleticism.
