Are You Going to Get in the Way?
We have an incredible impulse, I think, as human beings, to do that. And the pro-con list or cost benefit analysis is an attempt to take all the complexity at a point of cost,. The benefits have a positive sign. Add them up. If it's a positive number after you've taken away the cost, it might be true. But it's just not a good starting point. and if we're not careful, it's the ending point.
