The Culture of Honor

Culture of honor essentially says, when somebody does things, we like to look at their best qualities and not their worst qualities. If a leader in the church has made a mistake, cultureof or says, yes, we don't agree with that thing they did, but over all, we honor them anyway. But it's also an atmosphere that can lead to real problems. The bethel congregation has actually been victims of serious fraud at least twice. Once in two thousand nine, one of their own, david susa, was sentenced to 18 years imprison for a con worth nearly a million dollars.
