Juneteenth commemorates the day when last remaining black slaves learned they were free on June 19, 1865. The date was actually more than two years after President Lincoln's Emancipation Proclamation declaring all slaves free. One airline now says it's figured out how to reduce jet lag and is making in-flight improvements before offering the longest direct flights in the world.
