The Importance of Material Possessions Owning Things

I struggle with trying to decipher what's important for creativity. The tools that you actually use help you the tools that you don't use hurt you. I gave away all my musical instruments to a full time musician friend of mine. He was thrilled and now my psyche is not torn. Now my main creative space room has nothing in it but my keyboard and a cup of tea. So I'm no longer torn.
