The Jade Emperor Honors the Animals in the Chinese Zodiac
The Chinese zodiac has a 12-year cycle with an animal for each year. The Jade Emperor's first task was to find 12 animals to feature and celebrate in the zodiac. He decided the fair thing to do would be to have a race. So he instructed all the animals interested in earning a place in theZodiac to swim across a river and meet him on the other side. But if Brenda has already been to the studio, she can't bring snakes into the studio.
