The NBA's Decision to Opt Out of the Media Deal
Diamond Sports is now in bankruptcy court. The NBA says for now at least, they'll keep getting paid out as per their normal contracts. But there's also a chance things go wrong depending on the very, very arcane bankruptcy court process which I'm not completely an expert in yet but there's still opportunities for it to go wrong. And yeah, we're gonna see where this all goes. Like BRI is obviously gonna continue to grow. We'll see where it lands at this year that $10 billion in revenue overall for the NBA last year.
