I Don't Know - It's Human Nature
It's a human tendency to accept and integrate and repeat the ones that confirm our beliefs. Confirmation, by us suggests that we don't perceive circumstances objectively. We pick out those bits of data that make us feel good because they confirm our prejudices. Challenging your bioces puts you in very ambiguous territory,. which are headed by the assertion, i don't know.
