Night Blindness Is a Sign of a Vitamin a Deficiency

If you have night blindness, there's probably a 95% chance that you need more vitamin A in your diet. Vitamin A does other things that maintain the eye such as preventing dryness and promoting immune defense. There is some evidence that certain genetic defects that cause hearing loss do so by compromising the transport of potassium between cells. Too much calcium could indicate a role for vitamin K2 since these nutrients are known to prevent calcium from getting into the wrong places.
