There is a war within the left between those who want to prioritize entity, being black or gay, and thosewho want to prioritize class. The book is short, which is why i picked it up, but it's pretty dense. Still, if you're interested in the conflict i just mentioned, it's probably worth reading. Certainly, as one who's never really been on the left, it helped me to understand things better. General thoughts. Each term emerges from a different point of view of what is clearly a massive phenomenon. And we not like what those answers turn out to be.
