Conservative party has increased the number of supporters you need to even get on the ballot in the first place. Alexander: The idea here is that they speed up the whole process, i think, in part because there was that element in the conservative party that didn't like the idea of bore johnson staying on as prime minister for too long. And if you get down to the final two, and then the second one doesn't pull out, so if you end up with two, once you've gone through the parliamentary process, if you like, then it is going to go ut to members around the country.
