Flint-napping is a term we use in English for this modern hobby. It's only a small number of people make gun flints, whereas before about 5,000 years ago, everybody on the planet made stone tools. You're doing it to try and understand better how our ancestors used and made tools. I'm like 90 degrees, 180 degrees, the opposite of many of my colleagues. My colleagues look at these stone tools, and what they want to know is who made it?
