The Importance of Social Forms in Astronomy
Adam Frank: I really do think that what's interesting is that each one of those settlements will be far enough away from everybody else that you really could experiment with social forms in ways that could be very useful. He says he was pretty bummed last week when it was 107 degrees outside and couldn't go out for a week because of the smoke from the fires. But as an astronomer my job is to think in the long term right after this we're going to talk about colonies on asteroids in the universe if we get through climate change yes so are we going to do that or are we not going to doing that it depends on what day you talk to me, professor.
