DPP4 inhibitors block an enzyme that breaks down GLP1 and GLP hormones. They have fairly decent sugar controlled benefits, but not amazing. The drugs don't really help the weight loss like you might expect. And they haven't shown any cardiovascular benefits,. Like actually giving the high dose hormones.
