I couldn't afford to go on diet. The only solution was, I thought of it myself, just let's lose some leg muscles. A one kilo of the leg muscles, which I lost, is worth 300 of a second per lap. That really messed Lewis' head a little bit on that weekend there. This was a really decisive step towards the championship. Another big one from that year was really the gloves, yeah? I worked on my gloves to remove any kinds of seams or any kind of patches that were between my finger and the clutch paddock. And then he took over that glove design as well. So that was another thing that was very helpful.
