Law School Grades Are a Strong Predictor of Success in Law School
i went to a good law school and we were not ranked or anything, but people talked about their grades constantly. Even though on paper i did very well, i never talked about my grades. And that didn't hurt me. The system operates primarily as its own sort of self contained prestige gauntlet. If your goal is to be an academic or grub for other prestigeous positions your whole life, then you know you're going to need to get into an elete law school. But if you want to be a good lawyer, i would say you don't really need to worry about it too much.
