The Price of Accepting Elevation
I don't really like using my title because I'm very Presbyterian. But that's the price you pay for accepting elevation, I guess. Some of the people in there are unbelievably impressive. My parents both grew up in Glasgow and left school at 15 or 16 without qualifications. So yeah, it was for them, actually. They were proud that we were both able to go to university. Well, that's it. It's not the fact that you're in the House of Lords, or anything like that.
