The Return of Memed Simsek to the Finance Minister's Team

Odhan has now brought memed simsek back into his team as the finance minister he's also brought someone new into into central banks certainly nos crony. Investors thought maybe this is a return to orthodoxy but on th Thursday we had the second central bank interest rate announcement since those may elections again raising but not raising interest rates as much as investors would like an analyst have thought they might raise them just 250 base pointsUm yeah analysts were saying they're hoping for about 500 um so it's really clear i think is or it's becoming clear to investors that perhaps odhan and his new team don't have as much space as they thought they might  or investors certainly hoped for.
