I think Adorno refers to positive thinking, it's in his problems of moral philosophy and I would need to go and really return to it and think a bit more about it. But what's interesting there is something which struck me also about your text which is that positivity and negativity take on kind of at least two meanings. In summary, something like negative thought would be that which is conscious of non-identity of the kind of the failure of our categorization,. Whereas positive thinking would be to identify the that, which we want to preserve or that which we wanted to establish.
