The Importance of Storyboards

We take the story beats and we turn them into drawings. They see exactly how the prehistoric planet Spellbook which I think exists as a massive PDF on Darren's computer somewhere. There are certain aspects of the secret prehistoric planet Spell book that physically manifests themselves. We then take them and turn them into an animatic, which is a moving version of those storyboards that we start to add voice commentary on to and music onto. And that's when it really starts to come alive as something you can actually sit back, press play and watch. It's hard until we get to that point to know whether an idea works on the screen.
