The Differences Between Aluminium and Carbon Bikes
There isn't a huge amount of difference or certainly perceptible difference when it comes to performance. Unless you really, really want a slippery aero bike, there's not a lot between the two. The myth of the fill-in rattling alloy frames is largely a thing of the past. It's relatively easy to make on alloy frame stiff, but also one that's light and comfortable.
